Here’s your Geek Picks for October 2nd, 2019…
With the Joker move about to hit theaters, this seemed like an appropriate choice for this week. The 1973 original version of this has been completely remastered for a new generation of comic book lovers or those who just want to add this to their collections. I actually own the original version of this comic so it is very nice to see it back again. I love the cover art so so much and of course, the story isn’t bad either.

Jonathan Hickman’s Brave New World for mutants is (nearly) over as half of his two-series-that-are-one comes to its compelling conclusion. HOX has been the better of the two books, has has at least 3 issues containing the biggest comic moments of the year, and I can’t wait to see where Hickman’s new take on the franchise leaves us as Dawn of X approaches. House of X #6 is on the very top of my comic stack this week.
